How to support the UG Commissioner's Affordable Housing Project (if you can't make it to the meeting tonight)
We need a crowd of Democrats supporting the UG Commissioners when they make this vote (against vehement opposition) tonight! Also please sign the petition of support to be presented at the meeting...
Lansdale resident BJ Breish, who lives closer to the proposed affordable housing project than most Upper Gwynedd residents will, is supporting Democrats in Upper Gwynedd by organizing a petition of support for the Walters’ Group Affordable Housing Project. He will be presenting the petition to the Upper Gwynedd Commissioners at the important meeting at the Upper Gwynedd Township meeting where the Commissioners will vote on the project tonight. Signatures on this petition will counter the argument from the opposition that “no one” supports the affordable housing project - which they are claiming due to the optics in the room at the Upper Gwynedd Township Building as they get organized and bring out dozens of opponents to Upper Gwynedd Commissioners’ meetings from many townships, not just from Upper Gwynedd.
Please sign the petition at the link below. When signing, please remember your township is Upper Gwynedd, not Lansdale, the post office address.

Even if you plan to be at the 7:00pm meeting tonight, and/or attend the show of Democratic support in front of local TV news cameras at the Upper Gwynedd Township building at 6:30pm, it’s important to sign the petition. That way, when BJ presents it to the Upper Gwynedd Commissioners, it will reflect the will of the voters in favor of the Walters’ Group Affordable Housing Project. The more names of Upper Gwynedd residents on the petition the better!
If you aren’t going to be able to make it to the meeting tonight, that’s all the more reason to be at the meeting in spirit by signing the petition!
